Life cycle inventories of European GO and Swiss electricity mixes 2018

We updated the life cycle inventories of the Swiss electricity mixes to represent the situation in the year 2018. Four electricity mixes are distinguished: the production mix, the certified electricity mix and the GO consumer mix (upper chart) and the supply mix (production and commercial trade, second chart). We calculated the shares of the different technologies of electricity generation in Switzerland and of imported electricity from Europe.

We also esatblished LCI datasets and assessed the environmental impacts of the national GO electricity mixes of European countries based on AIB data 2018 (third chart).
